Childhood Romance Warmed Over
Have you seen my patchwork boy?
we stood 3”4 in our socks
when last we stood
He is blonde I am Brown
but our eyes are blue blue blue
everywhere we went people told us
So beautiful So Blue
such a good couple you two
But then I lost my PatchWork boy
the one with scars and blue blue eyes
and now I stand 5”3
and not only my eyes are blue
other things have grown so too
so if you see my Patchwork Boy
he’s quick to smile quick to cry
and if he’s still just blue in the eyes
don’t tell him that I lost out
to monsters such as you
